By accessing or using ZuluCash Corporation (Pty) Ltd's platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and all applicable South African laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our Service.
ZuluCash Corporation (Pty) Ltd ("ZuluCash", "we", "our", or "us") is a private company registered in South Africa (Registration No. 2024/123456/07) operating a peer-to-peer digital payment platform.
ZuluCash provides a digital wallet and peer-to-peer money transfer service that allows users to:
ZuluCash processes payments via the Stitch Payments API, a licensed South African payment service provider. ZuluCash is not a bank and does not hold a banking licence. Wallet balances are not bank deposits and are not covered by the Deposit Insurance Scheme.
To register a ZuluTag, you must be at least 18 years of age and provide accurate information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your PIN and for all activities that occur under your ZuluTag. You must notify ZuluCash immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
Your ZuluCash wallet is a prepaid electronic money account. Funds deposited into your wallet are held in trust by ZuluCash on your behalf in a ring-fenced account held with a South African licensed bank.
Wallet funds may be withdrawn to a verified South African bank account. Withdrawals are processed within 1–2 business days. Withdrawal functionality will be enabled in a future release.
You may send money to any registered ZuluCash user using their ZuluTag. Before initiating a transfer, you must ensure:
All completed transfers are final and irreversible. ZuluCash cannot reverse a transfer once it has been processed. If you send money to the wrong ZuluTag, you must contact the recipient directly. ZuluCash will assist in facilitating dispute resolution but cannot guarantee recovery of funds.
ZuluCash is committed to transparent, honest pricing. Our current fee structure:
ZuluCash reserves the right to introduce fees with 30 days' advance notice to users. If you do not agree to any revised fees, you may close your account.
Your ZuluCash account is protected by a 4–6 digit PIN. You are solely responsible for keeping your PIN confidential. ZuluCash staff will never ask for your full PIN via any communication channel.
You may not use ZuluCash for any of the following purposes:
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of wallet funds, and reporting to relevant authorities including the South African Police Service and the Financial Intelligence Centre.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, ZuluCash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
ZuluCash's total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount of fees paid by you to ZuluCash in the 12 months preceding the claim; or (b) R1,000.00.
ZuluCash is not liable for losses arising from: unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to keep credentials secure; losses arising from incorrect ZuluTag entry; downtime of third-party payment processors; or losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
ZuluCash is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: our payment processor (Stitch Payments); regulatory authorities as required by law; and service providers who assist in operating our platform, under strict data processing agreements.
ZuluCash processes personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA"). As the responsible party, ZuluCash has appointed a designated Information Officer.

You may close your ZuluCash account at any time by contacting support. Upon account closure, any remaining wallet balance (above R1.00) will be refunded to a verified South African bank account within 5 business days.
ZuluCash may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we determine (in our sole discretion) that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required to do so by law or a regulatory authority.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa, with Johannesburg, Gauteng as the chosen seat of jurisdiction.
